“Lives of Great Men” Book Reading and Launch

Professor Chike F. Edozien is the Clinical Associate Professor and Director, Reporting Africa at the NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.  Professor Edozien’s book, Lives of Great Men, renders a mix of memoir and reportage and focuses on the contemporary lives of African gay men and women. It also deals with the crisis of some of these men who come to New York to seek asylum.

This reading at NYU Africa House followed its prior launch by the UK-based publisher Team Angelica Books in London.  Following with the book reading, attendees had the opportunity to speak to the author at a post-reading reception and book signing. The Lives of Great Men book reading is sponsored by NYU Africa House.
