NYU Africa House/CTED “Dinner Celebration for Research Colleagues, Students, and Supporters”

Overview:

Our dinner celebration featured:

• A presentation of Africa House/CTED’s achievements, progress, and vision for the future and a celebration of our supporters;

• Field updates on our agricultural markets research with smallholder farmers, including our nano commodity markets and blockchain “crypto in the bush” project;

• Presentation of the 2024-25 Africa House Fellowship Awards for NYU students to conduct research in Africa, as well as hearing from last year’s fellows on their research outcomes;

• A wonderful exhibition of African art, along with updates on our Kumawu Museum Network, artistic collaborations, and art programs to support young artists in Ghana; and

• A networking cocktail reception and dinner with African cuisine.
