On May 13, 2009, Africa House presented an evening of discussion and welcomed a panel who shared their perspectives on Botswana as an African success story. The panel included William Easterly, Jim Robinson, and Barbara Barungi. Africa House was also proud to host the Vice President Lt. Gen. M.S. Merafhe of the Republic of Botswana to accept awards. The panel discussion was followed by an awards ceremony and VIP dinner.
